.XXX SRB List to be released

GoDaddy Registry has announced its intention to release approximately 47,000 .XXX domain names currently included in one of the registry’s reserved lists. The domains will be made available by releasing them into the general availability pool.

The list will soon be released and it comprises the .XXX Sunrise B (SRB) domain names that did not convert to AdultBlock (the “SRB List”).
To give all rights holders the opportunity of securing their domains before they are made available on a first-come, first-serve basis, the SRB List will be released in two phases:

Phase One: 16 March 2023 – 18 May 2023
Original sponsoring registrars of the SRB List will be provided with a domain name token that will enable them to remove the domain name they initially blocked in 2011 from the reserved list and register the domain on behalf of the registrant. If the rights holder no longer has an account or contact with the original sponsoring registrar, they may use an alternative accredited registrar. The chosen registrar may request a token through the AdultBlock Trademark Verification Service once valid rights corresponding to the .XXX domain name have been verified by the registry’s third-party verification agent.

Phase Two: 22 May 2023
All remaining domain names that have not been registered will be available directly through the registry on a first-come, first-served basis. .XXX accredited registrars will be provided with a list of all the domain names that will be made available before the opening of Phase One to cross-reference with their customer base. The list will detail the domain string only.

Registrations in both phases are still subject to the .XXX eligibility criteria.
