Should you wish to register .paris names with us or transfer .paris names to our management, the Registry Operator, The City of Paris, imposes certain conditions. As set out in our Terms and Conditions, by placing an order with us you unconditionally agree to be bound by these conditions as follows:

  1. Registrant acknowledges and agrees that:
    1. Registrant is fully responsible for the registration and use of the registration and use of the registered .paris domain name; and that
    2. Registrant shall indemnify, to the maximum extent permitted by Law, defend and hold harmless the Registry Operator, its director, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from or relating to the registration and/or use of the Registrant’s domain name.
  2. Registrant acknowledges and agrees that the Registry Operators reserves the right to change the status of the domain name during the resolution of a dispute or a compliance audit procedure (e.g. put on hold, lock), as well as to deny, modify, cancel or transfer any registration that it deems necessary, in its sole discretion in order to:
    1. Protect the integrity, security, and stability of the Registry Operator
    2. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, or with any dispute resolution process;
    3. Avoid any liability of the Registry Operator, its affiliates, member subsidiaries, officers, directors and employees;
    4. Stop or prevent any violation of any terms and conditions of this Agreement;
    5. Correct mistakes made by the Registry Operator or any Registrar in relation to a domain name registration; and
    6. Ensure compliance with ICANN and/or Registry Policies.
  3. Registrant consents to the collection and use of Personal Data by the Registry Operator.
  4. Registrant agrees to immediately correct and update the registration information for the registered name during the registration period.
  1. Registrant agrees to adhere and comply with all ICANN or Registry-mandated policies and procedure for the resolution of disputes concerning domain names registered in the. paris Registry System.
  2. Registrant is prohibited from:
    1. Distributing malware,
    2. Abusively operating botnets,
    3. Phishing,
    4. Piracy,
    5. Trademark or copyright infringement,
    6. Fraudulent or deceptive practices,
    7. Counterfeiting, or otherwise engaging in any activity contrary to any applicable law.
  3. Registrant acknowledges that Registry Operator reserves the right to suspend the domain name in the case of the practices above.
  4. Registrant acknowledges that the Registry Operator is a third-party beneficiary of the Terms and Conditions between the Registrar and the Registrant and as such the Registry Operator is entitled to enforce its rights vested by the Terms and Conditions.
