.bh Bahrain

Should you wish to register .bh names with us or transfer .bh names to our management, the Registry Operator, Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain (TRA), imposes certain conditions. As set out in our Terms and Conditions, by placing an order with us you unconditionally agree to be bound by these conditions. Further, you agree and acknowledge the .bh registry policies as set out below and updated from time to time:

  • You consent to the collection, use, distribution, publication and sharing of your and your staff’s personal data by the TRA and its designees and agents (including CentraNIC as the Registry Services Provider (RSP)), in a manner consistent with the purposes of provisioning the domain name and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and agree that the TRA has the right to disclose to third parties all contact information relating to the registered name to enable the TRA to comply with law enforcement requests, in compliance with the Registry Dispute Resolution and its legitimate interests.
  • You confirm that you accept the decision of the TRA and to comply with all applicable laws and registry rules, including in relation to the domain name dispute resolution policy as set out in your contract with Com Laude.
  • You agree that non-standard domain names have non-uniform renewal registration pricing such that the registration fee for a domain name registration renewal may differ from other domain names in the same TLD, or a premium domain name may only have a first-year premium fee followed by renewal at standard pricing.
  • You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the TRA, RSP and their subcontractors, and the directors, officers, employees, affiliates and agents of each of them, from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, arising out of or relating to your domain name registration. You agree that this indemnification obligation shall survive the termination or expiration of your agreement with Com Laude.
  • You agree to correct and update the registration information for the registered name during the registration term. Any inaccurate or unreliable information, or your failure to promptly update information, shall constitute a material breach of your agreement with Com Laude and be a basis for cancellation of the .bh registered name registration.
  • You acknowledge and agree that the TRA, via its RSP, reserves the right to deny, cancel or transfer any registration or transaction or to place any domain name(s) on registry lock, hold or similar status, that it deems necessary, in its discretion (1) to protect the integrity and stability of the .bh registry and registry system; (2) to comply with any applicable laws, government rules or requirements, requests of law enforcement, or any dispute resolution process; (3) to avoid any liability, civil or criminal, on the part of the TRA, as well as its officers, directors, and employees and those of the RSP; (4) per the terms of your agreement with Com Laude; or (5) to correct mistakes made by the TRA or any registrar in connection with a domain name registration. The TRA also reserves the right to place upon registry lock, hold or similar status a domain name during resolution of a dispute. The TRA or the RSP will provide Com Laude with notice via EPP command, email or phone call of any cancelation, transfers, changes or registry lock made to any registration by the TRA (in respect of a domain sponsored by the registrar) which will in turn be relayed by Com Laude to you.
  • A domain name application in the form prescribed under the registry is not a guarantee of an applied for domain name registration.
  • You agree that the agreement you have in place with Com Laude may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the TRA.
  • You represent and warrant that all times that you will comply with:

I.  such registrant eligibility requirements, if any, as provided by the TRA in the Registration Regulations, rules and policies, and as modified from time to time;
II.  the domain name use restrictions as provided by the TRA in its Acceptable Use Policy, as modified from time to time;
III.  all additional terms and conditions as provided by the TRA in the Registry Regulations, as modified from time to time;
IV.  the Registry Dispute Resolution policies and procedures and decisions; and
V.  if applicable, the Sunrise eligibility requirements and as modified from time to time.

  • The TRA, in its sole discretion, may revoke, cancel, deny, transfer, suspend, terminate or otherwise modify your rights in relation to a .bh domain, without any notice thereto, in the event of non-compliance by you or your licensees with any provision of Com Laude’s agreement with you and all of the Registry Regulations, rules and policies including, but not limited to, the submission or use of untruthful, incomplete or fraudulent registration information during the application process or subsequently thereto.
  • Notwithstanding any other provision and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the TRA will not be liable to you for consequential, indirect or special losses or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, loss of profit, loss or corruption of data, business interruption or indirect costs suffered by you as a result of any act or omission whatsoever of the TRA, its employees, agents or subcontractors).
  • The TRA is an intended third-party beneficiary of agreement with Com Laude, with a right to enforce the terms and provisions contained therein.
  • You represent that, to the best of your knowledge and belief, neither the registration of the domain nor the manner in which it is directly or indirectly used infringes the legal rights of any third party.
  • You agree that its registration of the domain shall be subject to suspension, cancellation, or transfer pursuant to the Domain Name Regulations, the TRA’s Rules and Regulations, or pursuant to any registrar or registry procedure not inconsistent with any such regulations or policies, (1) to correct mistakes by Com Laude or the TRA in registering the name or (2) for the resolution of disputes concerning the registered name.
